hope you’re all having a nice day off.

practice for everyone tomorrow. SL…going to camelback.

wednesday the varsity plus a couple of alternates per gender will go. i’d take everyone, but i can’t be there, as my 5th graders are presenting dances that night, and i obviously have to be there. so only coach brum will be going. i’ll let you know whose going on wednesday tomorrow night.

thursday we can only go to hidden, so that’s kind of up in the air right now.

then you know friday is the SL festival. we’ll enter at least the varsity and then as many more as possible depending on how the race fills up. early dismissal and bus at 1 pm.

as far as lineups are concerned, there has been a lot of movement on all levels. you’re all improving and working really hard. those of you who inquired about….and came on sunday to elk is a definite sign you want to get better and it is noted. just remember there are many variables other than time that i factor in to writing the lineup. courses degrade during races, making jv and X times less valid and also, course have gotten faster a couple of times this year. some courses are straighter than others and suit some kids better than others. this is not like swimming where a pool is a pool and water is water and there are dsq’s and dnf’s. every course is different. so trust me when i say i try to be as fair as possible, but it’s not as simple as who got a better time last race. and lineups on the site are never final until the night before the race. they are a work in progress and IMO should not be visible until that time.
